Hey everyone. What a year 2014 has been. As we all make the final preparations on where and how we will cross over to the new year, I would like to do a special dedication kind of post. Through the year very many things have happened that we may be proud of and others that we would like to flush them down the drain. In all these experiences there are people that have seen us through the best and the worst times that have put a mark on our lives. On this last day of 2014, I would like to appreciate the people that have seen me through the beginning of my endeavor on 23rd July 2014.
First person I would like to thank and has been very instrumental in this endeavor is none other than Zynzii Oyiera . A very beautiful and keen photographer, she has been one of the people behind some of the photos that have been posted on this blog and some of my Instagram posts. She is a very keen photographer, the details in her photos are on some insane level. Thank You for all the photo walks that we have and continue having exploring this city and more. Cheers to the good times.
Second person that has seen me through this endeavor and given me all the crazy ideas in terms of angles and possibilities of some shots is this ‘big’ guy, Charles Moreey. A pilot in the making, former iPod photographer until an unfortunate incident happened, a person whose mind knows no box to be out of, a mind full of possibilities, funny guy, there is so much about this guy that I can’t finish describing. Thank you for the support boss, hope we will get Aerial shots in the coming year.
A violinist, a lover of Black and White Photography, a person who is full of ideas and a crazy funny mind this is The Nairobi Violinist aka Paul Macharia. Seen on my previous post where he did a special Christmas tribute on my blog, he is a person that has supported me through this venture from the time that I showed him what it is all about. Thank you brother for all the support you have given me.
When I started this venture, I was not expecting to meet people that fast in this blogging business. Well fate had it that I would meet a person that I bumped into a number of years back. A very active person in the field of fashion blogging. Here I present to you Gloria Muthoni founder of The Reel Rhee.
A vibrant person that I have had the pleasure of working with, she is one of those people that have this joy in them that just spreads to people around her. A fun beautiful model that has a very wide closet full of very creative and outstanding outfits. Be sure to follow her blog at thereelrhee.com for more things fashion and maybe, she might feature right here on Nairobi Through My Eyes.
My family has been very instrumental in this venture that I undertook 5 months ago. With the help of my dad to set up this blog and my parents support in making all these posts possible, I can’t thank you enough for all the support that you have given me through this venture. To my small brother Enoch Mwangi who helps me a lot in my photography skills and who is coming up really really good. Thank you so much.
And to everyone who has made my year memorable, Annette, Rukii, Maryanne, Victor, Tello and everyone who has supported me this year. And most of all to God since without Him, none of this would have been possible.
It has been a great year so far, and am sure that the coming year will be better. Thank you all for the year it has been. Have a Happy New Year wherever you will usher it in and be safe everyone. As the light dims on 2014, let it be re-energized in the coming New Year. I wish you all a Happy Prosperous New Year, Live more, Worry Less, Hakuna Matata. Peace.
